Deleting non-started registry version

Sorry, guys.
I know that I got the answer to this a number of years ago, but the problem hasn't
recurred til now. And I've searched here, but haven't found the answer. Can you
remind me?
I have some problem-registry versions in the usual choice of just 5 in Scanreg /restore,
and years ago someone gave me the path to find the registry cab files stored beyond
just the 5, so I could delete the duds, and increase available options.
The "find file" function on my system has not gotten me to where I need to be.
Can you remind me where to find the blasted things, so I can delete the non-started
registry versions?
Thanks for your help,
Linda S
