You can store as many system backups as you want too. Just edit C:\Windows\Scanreg.ini
MaxBackupCopies=5
and as above just change the number to how ever many backups you want to have, I
normally have 14.
The only problem here is when you do a Scareg /restore it won't list all 14
dates as in my case, it only lists 6 or 7. These are stored in C:\Windows\Sysbckup\*.cab.
So what you would have to do is start you computer up in DOS mode. Then CD C:\Windows\Sysbckup
and do a DIR *.cab to show all your cab files. The ones you don't want to use you
can move them to another folder temporarily with
Move rb001.cab C:\Temp or which every filename you choose. Make sure the C:\Temp
does exist before hand.
Now if memory serves me right I think the Sysbckup is hidden so you would have to
change the attributes to that folder before you can access it using
Attrib C:\Windows\Sysbckup -H -S -R
I can't remember if its just hidden or its system as well, anyway it doesn't matter
the above command will work anyway.
