thanks again, steve. will give it a shot. another puzzling thing is i installed
software and driver from netgear along with the internal thing (pci slot?) whatever
you call it to connect wirelessly to a router in the house. the light is on it so
i know it connected but when i click on IE, it doesnt get me on the internet. i
have a feeling i am used to windows xp that makes life simpler which is on my other
computer. issues issues
