I know there are loads of threads about invalid page faults and I have read loads here and on other forums, but have not found a solution to my problem. The error message is always the same and always contains the same data about the file-address-flags etc. It is always IE causing the invalid page fault and always in module msxml3.dll. Tried repairing explorer-made sure I have all the most current files-ran registry checker etc. etc. This error does not happen everywhere or all the time. One time I was unable to access one of my on line bank accounts, but did just fine at another one. Right now for instance, if I go to anywhere at Yahoo---Bingo. I had posted at another site, a couple of days later I went there to see if anyone had an idea---can't get on any longer. As soon as the site loads, "IE has encountered a problem will be shut down...". Sometimes I get the other message in a smaller window with the page fault. Involved are always IE and msxml3.dll. Always the same error code (a bunch of zeros with a 5 at the end=access violation). I have done various scans for malware/adware and am now 'clean', but didn't make a difference. One strange thing I have found: The 'file' listed under the technical data is always 0x0000000000000000 (16 zeros). I did a search in the registry and found entries like this: ##.#0000000000000000#{cf1dda2c-9743-11d0-a3ee-00a0c9223196}. And then there is the exact same entry but without the ##.#s. It's not only with the all zeros but also with others like ##.#0000000000000045#{f18a0e88-c30c-11d0-8815-00a0c906bed8} and always a corresponding entry without the #s. If anyone has any idea or suggestions I would be so greatful for your advice/help with my issue. And if I simply drop off the face of the earth, well, then it's because I can't get back to this site because of this problem like it happened at this other forum where I was able to go and post a message and then not. Anyway, thanks in advance for anyone taking the time to read my message and trying to help!!! PS: OS is win98 se with IE6 sp1

Miss Chris
