I suggest you tick the **preserve your spacing** box and use carriage returns.
The Don't use this option unless you really need it part
is nonsense (unless *YOU* format your post as HTML).

If, before posting again,
you made sure the **No preview** box near the bottom of this page
http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/win98/config
is NOT ticked, you could see what your posts look like
BEFORE submitting them.
(A really BAD choice of defaults on the part of the Webmaster.)
