Sheila,
I wouldn't uninstall any file like that one. That is a Microsoft update.
Look again at Add/remove Programs. Line should read Internet Explorer 6 SP1, or something
like that.
Just to be sure, find out what version of Internet Explorer you are running. With
Internet Explorer open, go to the top of the screen and click on the Help Tab, click
on "About Internet explorer", then read the contents of the Dialog Box that pops
up. Internet Explorer 6 Sp1 will read something like; Version : 6.0.2800.1106.
If you find you do not have Internet Explorer 6 SP1 installed, go first to windows
Update to get whatever updates are available for your system. Windows update is on
the Tools Tab, next to Help.
Hopefully any Internet Explorer Update will repair your problem after install and
restart.
If you have Internet Explorer 6 SP 1, go to Start>Programs>Accessories>SystemTools,
click on System Information, then go to the top of MS System Information Dialog
box and click on the Tools Tab. Internet Explorer Repair Tool should be on the drop-down
menu.
Tick Repair Internet Explorer, click OK, and follow screen prompts. You MUST restart.
Post back here with results. Good luck.

There's nothing to learn from someone who already agrees with you.
