I'm so excited! after about 5 hours of digging trought the archives of numerous tech
support forums, I fixed my computer.

To everyone with the same problem that I had:
I found my solution here:
http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-2652.html

I read several places that if you hold down the f8 key that it would bring up a menu.
I tried and tried and tried. It didn't work because my computer just said "keyboard
Error."

To GET UP THE SCREEN, JUST PRESS F8 OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN VERY RAPIDLY!!!!
DO NOT HOLD IT DOWN. It will bring of the screen. press down until you get to "COMMAND
PROMPT ONLY." Then enter "scanreg /restore" TAKE NOTE OF THE SPACE after scanreg
and before the "/"

THIS SHOULD SOLVE ALL OF YOUR PROBLEMS!!!

THANKS!!!
