Do u realize that Win 98 is no longer supported by Microsoft? I also used to experience lot of errors messages which proved frustrating. Especially annoying was the IE error message whenever I would be enjoying some serious reading on the net. A friend suggested upgrading to either Win 2000 or XP. I upgraded to Win 2000. I no longer have those annoying popping error messages. So why not follow suit? You can get a used Win 2000 OS for at most $15-20 on e-Bay. Go for it, you won't regret it. The only thing you will miss are the headaches and limitations of a legacy OS.
