Using standard terminology is appreciated.
"Install" or "Installation" is the term you seek, rather than "setup".

Because **wiping the disk**[1] is the first step in a "Clean Install",
THAT process is advised, as gets rid of any old junk (e.g. Boot Sector Viruses).
