It's nice to know people out there want to help people like me and I do appreciate it. Got Ubuntu to finally work. Now have tweaking of it to do, but I now understand why people switch to Linux from Windows. Have spent the last 6 days in computer he*l. Partly my fault for not asking for help sooner, but wanted to exhaust all possibilities before asking for that help. That's how I learn. In any event have better understanding of Windows and better appreciation for Linux. Special thanks to Open Source Community and Linux. You do good work!
