Your amazing vendor is a prime example
of the outdated paradigm of paying up front for shrink-wrapped software
and getting zero SUPPORT when the chips are down.
That's the antithesis of the software business model for the 21st Century.
Closed-source payware gives me a rash these days.
This all reminds me of the way Vienna bungled their Linux rollout:
