Windows fails to complete boot up Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 4:02 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Dr (1 messages posted) I recently upgraded to Media Player 9. Then I rebooted and it locked up when it should have opened the desktop. So I pressed restart and the Windows menu came up with SAFE MODE highlighted. System comes up in safe mode and everything looks ok. I tried to reloaded windows but no joy. I reloaded the video drivers but no change. I'm stuck! Please help.
