My mistake, the original disk I was given, from computer frieind, says Windows 98
Release 2 full version on it. I upgraded it with Micosoft Plus98. When I check properties
on the c-drive it says it is windows 98se.
I have check the HP/Compaq web site. This is just the first step, I am attempting
to network two Compaq ( win 98 ) comuters with cross over cables, I am being prompted
to put the windows 98 disk to tranfer files and they can not be found, but that is
another problem.
Thanks, Mike
