Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 12:50 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Ali (3 messages posted) ok il tell everything in every possible detail.. when i start my laptop i dont get anything to enter into bios.. this morning i found out that F10 enters me into 'computer setup'.. i can see boot options there, power on passwords, restore/save from/to floppy and system info etc.. only one confusion.. is the bios and computer setup the same thing?! cause i dont see many things in that 'setup' which i see on my desktop computer's bios! also on the startup screen i see F12 for network boot.. well then my laptop processes to where windows shud start but gives the error which is as follows: 'Invalid system disk Replace the disk, and then press any key' before this message i press F8 to try to enter the option menu from where i can access dos but that doesnt show up! so here is my whole problem.. pressing the ctrl key also didnt do anything.. i hope it helps..:) waiting bros..:) Written in response to: re: How to boot install windows 98 through network?
