i recently finished building a new computer and installed windows xp x64 edition
with no problems. i would like to dual boot with windows 98 but im having some problems.
unfortunatly, my motherboard (an intel dg35ec) does not support windows 98, so i
know its not gonna be easy or it is impossible to run win 98 on my machine.
when i try to start the windows 98 installation i get the following error message:
Device Driver Not Found :'MSCD001'
No drivers found;Aborting installation
No valid CDROM device drivers selected
my drive is a lite-on IHAS220-08 with lightscribe.
does anyone know where i can get a driver for my drive to work? i know there is going
to be lots of problems trying to get 98 to run because it is not supported, but if
i can solve this first problem i can go from there. any help is greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance.
