While M$ would like you to believe that *they* are the ONLY ones
who can decide who can purchase and run the software they produce,[1]
the laws in the USA say that anyone can re-sell something that has been purchased.

This is also the law in most other places.

|if so how much and where i can have it?

As Keith mentioned, e-bay is the logical place to find old stuff.
There is also Craig's List.
You may also find stuff in your local Recycler newspaper.

|because my machine has software that run in 98 machine

If you are willing to learn just a bit about computers,
I'll bet you can run those programs without any Microsoft software
and without spending a dime.

Linux is a family of operating systems that is gratis (free as in beer).
It is also libre (free as in freedom);
that is, you can install it on as many computers as you want
--there is no End User License Agreement with Linux.
(The legalitly of shrink-wrap EULAs is highly suspect as well.)

You can even do a test drive of Linux without installing it;
just boot to the Linux CD.

If your box is kind of old and wimpy: (at the bottom of the page)
cache of

Once the Linux operating system is running,
many programs that you thought were Windows-only will run under WINE:

Your local Linux
Users Group can fix you right up.

In the 21st Century, getting DOS for free (legally) is child's play.

DOS programs can also be run under Linux:

[1] The "Product Activation" nonsense that Micro$oft instigated with XP
seeks to enforce their unlawful position.
(Why anyone would willingly subscribe to this form of ask-for-permission blackmail,
I don't know.)
Linux doesn't have any of this BS (nor does Apple's OS)
--in the OS realm, only Microsoft pulls this crap.
