The first thing I'd do is run MSCONFIG (link above). After that, start apps **as you need them**. Windoze's Startup time will be improved and troubleshooting complexity reduced. If you suspect an app (Yahoo's) is throwing the error, uninstall that app and reinstall it. The dependencies should be reinstalled--and in the locations the app requires.
