Starting windows 98 Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 5:44 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Jack Tucker (7 messages posted) I turn on computer and it shows windows 98 logo and then it shows a scan of files and then it goes blank. A small cursor in upper left hand corner blinks 15 seconds or so and then a green screen comes on in the center and it shows my name and asks for a password. The cursor blinks in the blank window where it asks me to enter password. It does this a few times and quits. The mouse can't move cursor and nothing happens.
