Flash Drive & BSOD

I've got an annoying, frustrating problem on a computer running Win98SE. Whenever
I insert a Corsair USB flash drive, it detects it and asks for the Windows 98 SE
disk. When I insert it and click OK, I get a BSOD saying:

Invalid VxD dynamic link call from NTMAPHLP(02)+ 00000002 to device "004F", Service
1.

Can anyone tell me what's wrong here? What's so annoying is that it worked fine just
a few days ago.
