The browser in use, most of the time, is Firefox 3.0.8 Other browser rarely used is Expl 6 with all security updates.. I'm on Window98SE. I don't know the service pack #. I don't really remember the exact date the problem occurred, but should be back 6/7 weeks approx. Keith, I'm terrified in doing the scareg/restore: I'm afraid I may make things worse since I don't have any specific date to restore registry. I have been using CC cleaner from time to time. Also I'm using Spybot that sometime is slow in opening for the updates. That's all I can tell you. Hoping you can guide me through this. Is this problem serious enough to affect the whole computer?
