When the Acid3 test was devised, everybody did pretty lousy. Only IE8's position has barely budged. (IE6 & IE7: no change at all.) With perfect scores having been achieved by the browsers that are based on WebKit and Presto, it's time for an Acid4 to get even more progress in compliance with the standards. ...and it's sad that Apple, M$, and Mozilla shot the HTML5 {video} tag in the head by not agreeing on which codec(s) to support in that evolving standard. My contempt for corporations (especially USAian corps) grows daily.
