When I want an older version of something I go to: www.oldversion.com You can get Firefox 0.8 there if you want to relive history. As for a firewall I use Outpost 1.0. It's good enough. I recommend that you delete all the addons. It blocks the ports and keeps apps from calling out. That's all a firewall needs to do.
