Looks like the end of SAS for Win98SE. The link below defines that .dll. Not Pretty.
involved in Startup/shutdown Logon/Off.
4.24.0.1004.
I guess you could try replacing the update versions with version 4.24.0.1004. after
each update. No telling how long it will work, if at all.
In other words rename the update .dll and insert -24 to see if it will work at all.
I can't see why there would be much to change in the .dll given what it does.
Other than that I see the best option is finding a different program to replace SAS.
I reloaded my 98 HDD but couldn't get the Modem to function. ?? been using it for
years with 98 then XP. Still works fine with XP though. I suppose it may not even
be the Modem. Diagnostic Software says it works fine.
So I guess your problem gives me a heads-up. I do have SAS on the 98 HDD. Post back
if you find a solution.
