Ah.
The proper name for that screen/process is "CMOS Setup".
CMOS is a small portion of special memory (SRAM, not DRAM).
That portion is battery-backed-up
so that when you power down the computer, it doesn't lose its contents.
If you purposely make CMOS lose its marbles by popping out the CMOS battery
http://www.liverepair.com/encyclopedia/articles/cmosreplace.asp
and letting it sit for maybe 5 minutes before putting the battery back[1][2],
all the parameters will be reset to the defaults.
You may have to reset *your* preferences e.g. Boot Precedence,
but it shouldn't be any big deal to get back to where you were.
[1] If it's been a while since you replaced the battery,
you might want to go ahead and get a new one instead of putting the old one back.
[2] Some MoBos have a jumper beside the battery to reset CMOS
so that you don't have to monkey with the actual battery.
