What's wrong with the defragmenter ? Thursday, June 7, 2001 at 6:26 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Scott (1 messages posted) I tried to defragment my mom's hard drive, and the defragmenter just goes to "10% complete". Then it says "device contents changed; restarting" and it begins the whole process again. It does this repeatedly until I get tired of watching it. When I stop it, it says "defragment not complete."
