Yes it will! To be honest Bob, I wasn't sure how to answer this post since I
assumed the user meant to shut it off with the switch when he had already gone "Start
>> Shutdown" The only way I know to do that is enable APM in the BIOS (or disable
it depending on what yours is set to first) and that doesn't always do the trick.
To my way of thinking, using the switch to shut off your PC when you can have it
shut off automatically is the equivalent of loading DOS on your brand new P4 machine........going
backwards instead of moving ahead. I probably should have put more thought into
my reply, or shouldn't have bothered replying at all because I get frustrated with
people who want to go backwards or stay static and tend to be sarcastic in my replies
when I get in that mood.
