i know about scanreg making backups - it was just a little unclear what you were talking about.

at some point, maybe when you installed win98, you glossed over the setup and missed where it decided to install to a new folder? hehe...

if its that old, delete it. having it around wont do a bit of good anyway.

i suppose a clean install is out of the question?
