Question about 'When I choose Monday, August 27, 2001 at 7:29 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Roger Keeny (1 messages posted) I have a question about When I choose "Shut Down" from the Start Menu, my computer hangs at the "Please Wait" screen: I bought a second-hand Packard Bell (233 mhz) running Windows 98 2nd Ed. Found out when I got it home that it won't shut down. Stupid me. Hangs up on "Windows is shutting down.". There is no category "Windows/Shutdown" for a wave file in Control Panel/Sounds. Any body know about this?
