I have a question about All of my desktop icons just became corrupted - what do I do?:

I thought this may be a published solution to a problem I am having. To delet the shelliconcash is not the solution to my problem but the problem may be related. My Desktop ICONs have a dedicated arrangement that can't be changed unless AutoArrange is used. The problem occurs in the personal desk top profiles the default (Cancel at Login) is ok. Is there something different when using personal profiles?
