I am not finding any such setting in my Bios. Here's what's on my Bios' Boot tab:

Boot-Time Diagnostics Screen (disabled)
Quickboot Mode (disabled)
Restore on AC/Power Loss (last state)
1st Boot Device (hard drive)
2nd Boot Device...
3rd Boot Device...
4th Boot Device...
Hard Drive
Removable Drives

That's it. I couldn't find a setting on any other tab for a Quiet-anything. There HAS to be a way to disable this thing. I have a Dell XPS R-450 Pentium II running a Phoenix Bios.
