Question about 'Customize Drive Icons' Monday, October 1, 2001 at 10:49 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by thomas (1 messages posted) I have a question about Customize Drive Icons: i put icon=C:\WINDOWS\#icons\aphex.ico, in the autorun.inf file, but i don't understand what the article means by the "index" of the icon... it works properly because the c: does show the default Win icon (that shows up when you have an unregistered filetype)... so the first part of the string is correct, i just can't get the index #. i tried leaving it off (deleting the comma and what's after it), making it a 1, a 0, and also just leaving the comma with no digit afterwards - none of these approaches work...
