Question about 'Share an Internet Connection' Wednesday, October 10, 2001 at 6:17 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Kent Spry (1 messages posted) I have a question about Share an Internet Connection: I have recently followed the instructions contained in the article "Setting up an Internet Sharing (Windows 98) at http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/ics_98. The instructions were fine and I have achieved ICS using a cable modem. Since this time I have noticed that my TCP/IP connection will regularly fail and I'm forced to disconnect and then reconnect. This usually occurs after about 5 to 10 minutes and is becoming a bit of an annoyance. Is there a problem that I can rectify or is this situation unavoidable due to the sharing?
