Question about 'Share an Internet Connection'

I have a question about Share an Internet Connection:

Do I need to have a cable going from my 2nd ethernet card to the hub? I already have one from the first ethernet card going into the hub. I have an internal DSL modem, an ethernet card to communicate out to the other PC (thank God there's only one at this point) and a 2nd ethernet card as recommended for the ICS. I am getting an error on boot up that the computer address was already on the network, and I creating a circular reference by having both these cards wired to the hub? Thanks, Julie Walker
