Ok, I run W98SE. I would like to know how to completely get rid of the annoying 'Task Scheduler'. I had this thing out of my system once, by following Ed Bott's advice-however, I had to do a complete reboot, and, dummie me, didn't write down the instructions. I do not use Task Scheduler, don't ever intend to, just want to get rid of it completely. Have asked this question before, and have received only answers as to how to shut it off----Jeez, anyone knows how to do that! I want to completely remove it and it's function along with the icon in the taskbar. Any Help??? Also, I have a problem with 'sound stutter'. Also fixed that once but, alas, again forgot how to rectify it. Any suggestions on that would also be appreciated. Thank you, Bill
