The reason that dial up networking refuses to remember your password is because you have not logged into your computer. if a windows logon box or a windows networking logon box appears when you start windows, you must enter a username and password and login. once you have logged in, dial up networking will quite happily remember your password for you...8-) however, if a logon box does not appear, double click the network icon on the control panel, and install a client. e.g. Client For Microsoft Networks, then go to the identification tab, and enter your computer name and your workgroup name, restart windows, and all should work, if not, i will help you sort the problem...just E Mail Me ~Stuart~
