I have a question about Getting Network Neighborhood to recognize newly attached computers:

I am trying to network my desktop to my laptop. I have Win98se on both, and using a hub. My DT cpu has the internet with a cable modem. I am using two nic cards in the DT. My LP can ping both cards through DOS, but the DT can not ping the LT. In win, I only see the perspective cpu in there own network neighborhood, but not each other. I followed the instructions on this web site for ICS, but my LP does not get online. How do I get my DT files shared with the LP, as well as, the LP going online ? Thanks for any help. I have put share on some folders and the printer through the DT.
