Getting rid of (not replacing) the Windows 98 shutdown screen.

O.K., I was able to get rid of the startup logo screen by adding LOGO=0 to C:\MSDOS.SYS. Great. But how do I now get rid of the "Please wait while Windows is shutting down" screen. Please note that I do NOT want to create my own creative screen... I want it to GO AWAY ALTOGETHER (so I can see the underlying activity on the monitor as I can now see where the startup logo screen used to be). I'm running windows 98. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
