Question about 'Resolving Hardware Conflicts'

I have a question about Resolving Hardware Conflicts:

I've tried on numerous occasions to intall a Lexmark X73 printer, copier, scanner all in one to my system.I did notice in device manager a conflict on my USB root hub (yellow circle with a exclamation mark ) Can this be where my problem lies? and how do I remedy this?
