How do i uncompress the compressed drive?

Hi, I have compressed my "D" drive, and reinstalled Windows operating system in "C" drive. Now, I see the "D" drive as "drivespace.000" How do I retrieve the data from this drive? Kindly let me know the procedure, I have a lot of important data in that drive. Thank you, Ramesh V
