Temp files not really necessary

I disagree with the assertion in "What
to Throw Away" that the temp files in Windows/Temp should not be thrown away.
I regularly empty that folder once a day, and have not had any ill effects whatsoever.

On the off chance that a program was using a .tmp file at the time I tried to delete it, Windows would simply pop up a message saying that it was in use and couldn't be deleted. And if you don't have any programs running when you try to delete the .tmp files, then it's highly unlikely that any of them are still necessary. If anything, I would highly recommend keeping the folder as empty as possible, since it helps free up space. Peace & Luv, Liz
