Question about 'Share an Internet Connection'

I have a question about Share an Internet Connection:

I have setup a wireless home network on a peer to peer basis. Host uses Win Me and Client uses Win 98 SE. ICS appears to function fine on host. I can get out over the internet without any problems. I am sharing an Effeicient Networks SlipStream 3060 internal ADSL modem PPPoA. Host runs fine. Client has access to local network without any problems but cannot connect when trying to use IE6 and/or Outlook Express 6. I have tested the client both locally and remotely over the LAN using "ping" and I get normal replies. Any suggestions on what might be wrong with the client and why it does not see the ICS over the LAN in IE6?
