Hello all. I had my computer with win98 for a while. I think over time it has become corrupt. The memory kept fading, while online it kept dissing me, I couldn't even check e-mail on Hotmail. (Other e-mail adds worked, such as zzn.com and yahoo) I don't have a cd-RW, so I just went to dos and reinstalled windows 98. But I ran into a problem. When it was done setting up, I was back in windows. Now I get tons of Kernel errors that never happened before I reinstalled windows. *I was better off not reinstalling windows* Can anyone help me. What do I do to stop the chaos in my computer? I tried to log into the net and it gave me a kernel error, so I cant go online anymore. So I'm using my old pentium 120 to send this message. =( Please help me. Besides format, is there any other way to restore my computer? If I delete windows, will I be able to install it again and have my files still? what caused the kernel thing?
