I have a question about Resolving
Hardware Conflicts:

My device manager is showing a yellow "!" next to the direct memory access controller. BUT... I have TWO direct memory access controllers, and the other one is working fine. The one that has the "!" shows a conflict in the resources tab as follows: Direct Memory Access 04 used by: Direct memory access controller Input/Output Range 0000 - 000F used by: Direct memory access controller Input/Output Range 0080 - 0090 used by: Direct memory access controller Input/Output Range 0080 - 0090 used by: Direct memory access controller Input/Output Range 00C0 - 00DE used by: Direct memory access controller When i try to remove the one with the yellow "!" the computer restarts and tells me its "found new hardware" then tries to reinstall and the yellow "!" comes back. Do i need two? how can i get rid of the "broken" one permanently? BTW this question was posed in the Windows 98 discussion forum with no responses. Thought I'd try here. thank you very much.
