Question about 'Identifying the programs that Windows runs at boot'

How can i identify what is making my computer to open up the folder C: that gives
all the contents of the c: drive opening up when windows has finished loading.
I have gone through everything one by one in msconfig and stopped them and it still
opens up.Oh by the way im using windows 98se
