I have a question about How
do I install, remove, or re-install one of the components that came with Windows?:
Running Win98 SE. Had been using IE 5.0, w/o Outlook Express installed. Required
to upgrade/ install IE 6 to use an internal Web application. (Stupidly) did a standard
install of IE 6 SP1. Install also installed Outlook Express 5. I want to get rid
of Outlook Express. Outlook Express does not appear in Add/Remove Programs control
panel either as part of IE or by itself. Cannot find an unistall string entry in
for Outlook Express in the registry. I'm not too concerned about the exe, what I
really want to get rid of is the dll (s). We use Notes 5 here, and I understand it
has conflicts with Outlook.
