Defragment Friday, July 11, 2003 at 2:32 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Mable (14 messages posted) I have had a 60 gig 2nd drive fitted as my “C” drive and my old drive is now the “D” drive. Though I can defrag the “D” drive without any problems whenever I try to do the new one I get a message. “Window cannot defragment this drive now because it has been locked by a disk utility.” Any ideas on how to unlock this utility that I didn’t think I used. I have Norton virus switched off.
