I have a question about Dealing with Bad Memory (RAM):

PLEASE HELP! I have a computer running Windows 98se. This morning I turned it on, it was not perfoming like usual (the colors were distorted, many of my programs would not function), frustrated I decided that I would re-install Windows 98se over the previous installment. This did nothing but bring up the screen which lets you take a tour of Windows 98se. Irritated I began to do things in the bios (F2). After restarting my computer all I could get is this message "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down." "If problems persists, contact the program vendor." PLEASE someone tell me what to do now so that I can get my computer up and running again. As of right now all I can do is turn it on and NOT move past the "illegal operation" message. THANKS A BILLION... Mrs. TJ
