Jacob (4 messages posted) I have a question about All of my desktop icons just became corrupted - what do I do?: In my system all my desktop icons are there. But if we click on the icons of 'my computer', 'my documents', 'network neighborhoood', etc. I am getting the error message "The file does not have a program associated with it for peforming this action. Create an association in My Computer by clicking View and then clicking Folder Options". This error message is coming for all folder icons in the desktop. Shortcuts and files in the desktop can opened without any problem. I can access above said folders only through windows explorer. I have tried to repair the icons using Tweakui.
