Question about 'Clear Unwanted Entries from Add/Remove Programs'

i had recently installed a game cricket2002 but my mistake was that i did not uninstall
it infact i deleted it from my hard disk now the problem i am having is that since
i am trying to reinstall that game i insert the cd into my cd rom but instead of
the installation page the uninstallation page appears ok i succesfully uninstalls
the game but when i go to the add remove programs i find cricket2002 right there
and when i try to install the game form my cd again the uninstall page appears and
uninstalls the game but there is no change in the add remove programs and therefore
i cannot access the cd cuz it is only uninstalling the game without installing it
again and again and i bought a new cd of the game but the same thing is happening
so anyone please help me
