Way to delete cursors, bmp's, etc. from .cab files?

I have a question about What
to Throw Away:

I was greatly displeased to find that there is a folder - Windows/options/cabs (I
think) which has scores of cab files full of wavs and cursors and wallpapers. I imagine
that that is the source for the add/remove programs - I don't need to insert the
disk to add/remove components.

Since I will never want to re-install themes, or audio clips, etc., I at least wanted
to delete the audio/visual stuff and leave all the other files I was unfamiliar with.
I used Winzip to view the files, but it states that "Delete is not a function allowed
with this file type".

Is there a download which will allow me to view AND delete the contents of cab files?

Thanks,
Ethan
